I'm Back!

Well it has been entirely to long since I last posted something on this blog.  I am going to blame this atrocity on my little incident with a window.  My entire life I have roamed the nights in my sleep doing various odd things; ranging from holding conversations with people, trying to leave the house and sometimes screaming.  but almost six weeks ago I did something a bit different, I punched out my window! The first thing I remember is waking up in the middle of my room with my hand bleeding; my first instinct was to put my hand in my mouth so the blood wouldn't get everywhere.  but after a couple of seconds I realized that there was a lot more blood than I thought. so I stubbled around and felt for my light to my room and when I found it I opened my door to find my roommates standing there with a bat and a hammer.  What they must have saw when I opened my door had to have been straight out of a horror movie.  I was covered in blood head to toe and kind of delirious; after it was figured out that I was awake and no one was trying to break into the house we tried to decide what to do about my hand.  It was when I noticed I couldn't move my pinky at all as well as I could see the bone of my knuckle that we decided to go to the ER. After all of the chaos of the ER trip it was discovered that I had completely severed the tendon to my pinky.  This meant I needed surgery immediately and was soon under the knife to regain the use of my pinky.
Evidently tendon damage is a lot more serious than I thought; I am in week six and I am still not even close to 100% healed.  Here is a visual journey through the perils of window punching.

So now I am on week four of wearing this robotic contraption on my hand to rehabilitate my pinky.  the going is slow, basically all I am allowed to do is to push down on the little sling a couple times an hour.  My guess is that I am going to be rehabbing for another month or two.  So that is the basic story of how I became a robot and haven't been posting for a while; I left out the side stories and some of the irrelevant details, because if I hadn't I would be rambling on forever.

Don't Punch out windows,
